Hi there! I'm Ashley, The Amateur Adventurer.

I am 26 years young, and live in sunny south Florida, West Palm Beach to be specific. I work for a computer software company that makes electronic health records systems for the VA Hospitals (*yawn*). I enjoy photography, karaoke, music, fishing, kayaking, crafting, traveling, roller skating, and anything involving food.

This is my husband, Tony.

We're newlyweds (awe)! Got married on September 16th, 2017. We spent 6 months planning a fancy wedding, then decided to cancel everything and have a tiny elopement ceremony in a courtyard. It was beautiful!

We met, and dated, back in 2007. We went our separate ways, and eventually found each other again in 2014. He is where I get my love for fishing and kayaking. Tony is the "angler" of the family. He loves to sing (way better than me). He's got that raspy-rock-country voice going on. He has 3 kids, I have 1, and he is an amazing father. We make the greatest mini Brady Bunch.

This is my son, Dakota.

He is 10, going on 16. He is the perfect mixture of sarcasm and goofiness. Kota loves video games, sports, drawing, and music.

This is my step son, Anthony.

Anthony is 6. He is a little ball of anxiety and emotions, but the sweetest boy I've ever met. He loves coloring, video games (when he's winning), swimming, and singing.

This is my step son, Bane.

Bane, Nicholi, or Finn, depending on the day. His name is Nicholi Bane, but we have always called him Bane. Tony sometimes calls him Bane-O-Finns, which eventually got shortened to Finn. Bane is 5 years old. He is a tornado in child form with one of the greatest smiles I've ever seen. Bane loves Batman (ironically), swimming, and dressing up like superheros.

This is my step daughter, Eliana.

Ely for short. She is 3 years old. Eliana is queen bee and she knows it. She loves pink, baby Moana, dresses, play dough, and cuddles.

I hope you enjoy the blog!
